XTC is a high temperature and heat resistant coating formulated specifically to protect metal surfaces operating at temperatures from 500F (260C) to 1500F (812C). With proper preparation, XTC provides outstanding adhesion, film integrity, weathering, and thermal shock-resistance throughout this entire temperature range, and is guaranteed not to burn off! XTC is ideal for exterior applications because it resists rust when primed with XTC Primer. XTC Primer provides the rust protection.
I used the KBS Coatings Xtreme Temperature Coating for a metal BBQ grill that needed a fresh look. The pure white color is really sharp, and it holds up well against high heat. Just make sure to follow the application instructions carefully for best results!

Beautiful finish but beware of the fumes
I really like how the KBS coating turned out on my outdoor heater. The pure white finish looks stunning! Just be cautious about the fumes when applying—definitely do it outside or in a well-ventilated area.

Not as durable as I hoped
I painted my fire pit with the KBS Xtreme Temperature Coating, and while it looked great initially, the finish started to chip off after just a few uses. I expected better durability for something marketed as high-temperature. Disappointed!

If you’re into DIY projects, this KBS coating is definitely worth trying. I used it on a metal chair that gets a lot of sun and heat, and it’s holding up pretty well. The pure white color really brightens up my patio!

Packaging was damaged on arrival
