XTC is a high temperature/heat resistant coating formulated specifically to protect metal surfaces operating at temperatures from 500 F to 1500 F. With proper preparation, XTC provides outstanding adhesion, film integrity, weathering, and thermal shock-resistance throughout this entire temperature range, and is guaranteed not to burn off!
The jet black color of this KBS coating is stunning, but I had some trouble with the application. The instructions could be clearer, and the first coat didn’t adhere as well as I hoped. However, once I got the hang of it, the final look was worth it!

Strong coating for high heat areas
I used the KBS Coatings Xtreme Temperature Coating in jet black to protect my motorcycle exhaust, and it works great! The finish looks sleek, and it holds up really well under high heat. Just be careful when applying; it can get a bit tricky around curves.

Not as durable as expected
I was excited to use the KBS Xtreme Temperature Coating for some high-temperature areas on my grill, but it started chipping after a few uses. The jet black finish looked nice at first, but it just didn't hold up to the heat as advertised. Disappointed with this one.
