If your shifter needs any new boots or bushings, its best to replace them all. This unit is a high performance upgrade that will replace the weak factory plastic piece. Our kit is a mix of OEM Mazda and Aftermarket pieces, keep the cost much lower than the full OEM rebuild kit from your local dealership. Note: Will not fit Cobalt Short Shifter 994-000 Before ordering, Please check the product pictures carefully to understand the appearance of the product, and check the OE Number and compliance !
The brass shifter bushing from Koxuyim does its job well and fits perfectly on my '99 Miata. Shifting is improved, but I did have to wait longer than expected for it to ship. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

Not what I hoped for
I was really looking forward to this upgrade, but the Koxuyim bushing didn’t fit my NB as well as I thought it would. It also feels a bit too stiff. I might need to look into other options next time.

Great upgrade for my Miata
I installed this Koxuyim brass shifter bushing in my NA Miata, and the difference is amazing! Shifting feels much more precise now, and the durability of the brass is a huge plus. Definitely worth the investment if you want to enhance your driving experience.
