The LEAKFINDER LF020CS SOLO-SHOT single-use air conditioner refrigerant leak detection syringe kit is made for ac leak detection. The SOLO-SHOT disposable syringes are designed for quick and easy injections. Each syringe is prefilled with the correct amount of fluorescent leak detection dye for the application. There is no measuring involved and no loss of dye due to spillage. The R-134a hose coupler and purge fitting simplifies the connection for vehicles with R134a refrigerant systems. R-1234yf ac systems require LF60 adapter (sold separately). The LEAKFINDER LF20CS SOLO-SHOT kit includes (2) pre-filled UV fluorescent dye syringes and R134a hose coupler and purge fitting. The LeakFinder syringe kit did the job for my air conditioner leak detection, but the instructions were a bit confusing. It took me a couple of tries to get it right. The UV dye worked well once I figured it out, but I expected clearer guidelines for use. Still, it was reasonably effective!

Not What I Expected
I had high hopes for the LeakFinder LF020CS but was disappointed when the dye didn't really fluoresce under my light. Maybe it’s my light, but I expected it to work better. It was easy to apply, but ultimately I didn’t find any leaks and felt like I wasted one of the syringes. Not sure if I’ll buy again.
