Micrometer head assures accuracy in feeding. Expands quickly to cylinder size with fast action rack and pinion. Bottom guard plate helps prevent stones from accidentally hitting the crankshaft. Universal joint action makes grinding the back of the cylinder easy.
The Lisle 15000 worked fine for my needs, but it took a few attempts to get the hang of it. The instructions could be clearer, and I wish it came with a little more guidance. Still, it did help me get my cylinders prepped without too much hassle.

Not what I expected
Unfortunately, the Lisle 15000 didn't quite meet my expectations. I found it tough to get consistent results, and it seemed to wear down quicker than I thought it would. It might work for lighter jobs, but I needed something more durable.

Solid tool for engine work
I used the Lisle 15000 cylinder hone on my old engine rebuild, and it really did the trick. The grit was just right, and it helped me achieve a smooth finish. Make sure to have the right oil for lubrication while using it, though!
