LOCTITE 271 is a red, low viscosity, high strength, anaerobic-curing threadlocking adhesive for the prevention of fastener loosening due to heavy shock and vibration. It can tolerate slight contaminations of industrial oils and is suitable for all metal fasteners. This adhesive fluoresces under UV light.
This Loctite Threadlocker is effective, but I found the application a bit messy. The nozzle drips a little when you’re using it, so be careful! It’s strong and definitely does keep everything tight, just wish it was easier to apply cleanly.

Stopped Working Too Soon for Me
I had high hopes for this threadlocker, but it stopped working after just a few uses. It was strong at first, but then my bolts came loose. I thought Loctite was supposed to be reliable. Disappointed with this product.
