There is nothing like the aggressive look of a car with the right stance! Over time, stock springs sag, get rusty, and simply wear out. BMR Suspension believes the right springs go beyond looks-your S197 needs to perform, too! All BMR springs are manufactured from chrome silicon high-tensile spring wire, and are cold wound on a CNC coiling machine. The CNC coiling head can adjust the spring diameter in real time to ensure that every spring is exactly the same. This guarantees that your right spring matches your left spring. Every BMR spring is compressed solid at the factory, not once, but twice. This gives the spring its permanent set, and guarantees no sag. BMR springs are stress-relieved at 750 degrees F, ensuring most stresses induced during the winding process are eliminated. All springs are then shot-peened to eliminate residual surface stresses. Many spring manufacturers skip this step, but BMR insists on this operation as part of our spring manufacturing process. Every spring is computer tested as the last step-every spring, not just a sample from each batch. Each spring is loaded in the spring tester at the factory, then compressed and the CNC load cell measures the force for a variety of spring lengths. This allows BMR to offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY against spring sag.
The springs themselves are solid and definitely provide a nice lower stance for my performance GT. However, they took longer to arrive than I anticipated. Once they got here, installation was straightforward and I love how my car looks now. Just be aware of potential delivery delays!

Great Drop for My Mustang!
I recently installed these lowering springs on my GT and they made such a difference! The 1.5" drop improved the look and handling significantly. Installation was easier than I expected, and the performance upgrade is noticeable when cornering. Highly satisfied with this purchase!

Not as Expected, Color is Off
I was excited to get these springs for my performance GT, but upon installation, I noticed they don’t seem to match the expected color scheme of my car. They still lower the car nicely, but I was hoping for something a bit more cohesive visually. Just a minor disappointment.

Improved Look, Slightly Stiffer Ride
I installed these lowering springs on my GT, and while they look fantastic with the 1.5" drop, I did notice the ride is a bit stiffer than I expected. It’s manageable but just a heads-up if you're used to a softer ride. Overall, they're doing their job!

Defective Item, Stopped Working
I hate to say it, but one of the springs was defective right out of the box. After a short period of use, my GT started to sag on one side. I’m really disappointed since I was looking forward to the performance boost. I’m returning them.
