I had high hopes for this Lucas alternator, but it stopped working after just six months on my R2500. Installation was straightforward, but it seems like the quality isn’t there. Disappointed with this one.

Decent but with a hiccup
The alternator works well overall on my '89 Chevy V1500, but it took a couple of days longer to ship than expected. It does the job and keeps my lights bright, but I wasn’t thrilled about the wait.

Great Fit for My 1990 Suburban
I installed this Lucas alternator on my 1990 Chevrolet Suburban, and it fit perfectly. The 7V output is solid, and my battery's been charging like a champ. Definitely a step up from the old one that failed after 30 years.
