The carrier's mid-point mounting leaves enough room to transport a second kayak (requires another carrier). The SeaWing combines a single saddle design with mid-point mounting, making it easy to set up while providing extra roof space. Boaters can use this roof space to add a second kayak--the only bottom-down carrier in the market that encourages such versatility. The SeaWing's low profile, meanwhile, flexes gently to cradle your boat while you drive, keeping air resistance at a minimum. And the SeaWing works with most vehicles thanks to the universal-fit Jawz mounting hardware, which fits round, square, and most factory oval cross rails. The carrier even transfers to another vehicle in minutes--no tools required.
Construction features include corrosion-free polycarbon for the frame, ribbed synthetic rubber for the padding, cam-style load straps with buckle protectors, and 50mm and 60mm pre-coated mounting bolts (larger bolts are available for purchase if necessary). Compatible with the Malone Stinger load assist module, the SeaWing measures 27 by 5 by 6 inches (W x H x D) and supports up to 70 pounds.
