Theres no need for an electrical outlet. The durable, weatherproof wall sconce is motion activated means it lights up when you or guests are there. Simply identify the perfect location to mount the light. Then, use the included 2 screws to attach the back cover to the chosen surface. Once the light is set up, a simple movement will activate the light, and 2 super-bright Surface Mount LEDs will turn night into day. The light will continue to stay on as long as theres motion. While I love the copper color and design of this outdoor wall sconce, I was hoping for a bit more brightness. It's adequate for my needs, but if you want a floodlight effect, this isn't it. Installation was straightforward, so no complaints there!

Arrived damaged, not reliable
I was really looking forward to this Maxsa sconce, but when it arrived, the sensor was broken. I tried fixing it, but it stopped working after a couple of days. Very disappointing since I liked the design and function. I’m going to return it.

Decent light but installation was tricky
The Maxsa motion-activated sconce looks good and provides sufficient brightness, but I had a hard time figuring out how to install it properly. The instructions weren’t very clear. Once it was up, though, the motion detection worked as promised. Just be prepared for a little hassle!
