I recently took the MaxxHaul 50027 on a camping trip with my family, and it held our two bikes securely without any issues. The platform style is sturdy, and the hitch tightener really made for a rattle-free ride. Installation was straightforward too, which I appreciated!

Good but with a minor hiccup
The MaxxHaul 50027 rack is pretty solid and fits my SUV well. However, it took a couple of tries to get the hitch tightener just right. Once it was secure, though, it performed nicely and kept my bikes safe on the way to the trail. Not too bad for the price!

Disappointed with the quality
I was excited about the MaxxHaul bike rack, but it arrived with a few scratches on the finish, which was disappointing. Plus, after just a couple of uses, one of the straps started to fray. I expected better quality for a rack meant to hold two bikes!
