Hi Volume Oil Pump 4. 6 5. 4 Modular Ford 20% more volume than stock. P0% volume increase over stock. 80 psi pressure relief spring installed. Hardcoat anodized aluminum housing. Phosphate coated cast iron cover.
The Melling oil pump works fine and fits my 4.6 engine, but the installation instructions were a bit lacking. I had to search online for some tips to get it right. Once in, it seems to be doing its job well, but I wish they had included more detail in the box.

Stopped working after a few weeks
Unfortunately, my Melling oil pump didn't last long. It seemed to be doing great for a couple of weeks, and then I noticed a drop in oil pressure. Not what I expected from a brand like Melling. I’ll need to replace it sooner than I hoped.

Arrived with a dented box
The pump itself is good, but it arrived in a dented box which made me nervous about the product inside. Fortunately, it wasn’t damaged. Installation was smooth, and it’s working as promised, but the packaging could be better.
