Mercury Water-Separating Fuel Filter 802893T is the replacement filter canister for remote mount filter systems. Its designed to help keep water out of your engines fuel system, when used in most Mercury outboards and MerCruiser engines.
I've been using the Mercury 802893T fuel filter on my boat and it's done a great job keeping the fuel clean. Easy to install and it fits perfectly with my remote mount system. Definitely worth it if you're looking for reliability on the water!

Does its job but pricey
This fuel filter does what it’s supposed to do. The water separating feature is noticeable, but I feel like it could be a bit cheaper for what it offers. It’s been reliable so far, so I’m satisfied.

Stopped working after a few months
Unfortunately, the Mercury fuel filter I got didn't last long. It worked well initially, but then I noticed fuel issues again. Disappointed as I expected more durability from it. Won't buy again.
