Do you work on a lot of GM vehicles? Especially around the sound system? This Metra 70-2057 Amp Bypass Harness for 2014 and up GMs is a must-have. As it fits a variety of vehicles, be sure to have several on hand.
I found the Metra harness to be okay, but it didn't fit completely snug in my 2018 Chevy. I had to tape a few connections to make sure they didn’t come loose. Not ideal, but it gets the job done.

Disappointed with the fit
I ordered this harness for my 2019 GM model, but the connectors didn't match as I expected. It wasn't totally useless, but I had to modify it a bit which was frustrating. Should've been a better fit for the model.

Simple installation for my GM
I used the Metra 70-2057 amp bypass harness to install a new stereo in my 2016 Chevy. The connectors matched perfectly, and it made everything so easy. Just plug it in and go!

The harness does its job for my 2015 GMC truck but I wish there were clearer instructions for first-time installers. It took me a few tries to get it right, but once I did, it worked perfectly!
