The Metra harness worked well for my 1995 VW Jetta. It connected easily to my new stereo. However, I wish it included more detailed instructions, as I had some trouble with the amp wires. Still, it gets the job done!

Solid Wiring Harness for My VW
I used the Metra 70-9002 to install a new radio in my 1998 VW. The harness fit perfectly and made the connections super easy. No issues with sound quality, and I love how it supports my amplified system!

Good Quality, Minor Issues
The quality of the Metra 70-9002 is solid, but I had a few issues with the connectors aligning. Shipping was quick, and once set up, it worked well with my '97 Passat's amp. Just be prepared to do some fiddling!

Worked But Took Some Tweaking
This wiring harness did what it was supposed to do, but the instructions were a bit vague. I had to spend some time figuring out a couple of wires. Once I did, everything worked fine with my '01 Golf's amplified system.

Not Quite What I Expected
I was a bit disappointed with this harness. It arrived on time, but some of the connectors didn't fit my '99 Beetle as well as I'd hoped. I had to modify a couple of things to make it work. It’s okay if you're handy, but frustrating otherwise.
