This stereo installation kit has been engineered to help you install a 2 tall (Single-DIN) aftermarket radio into the original vehicle dashboard. This dash kit makes radio replacement simple and comes with a built-in pocket that is located below the 2 radio to fill the extra space in the radio opening, which can be used for storage. The dash kit is painted dark charcoal gray to match the original look and feel of the vehicles dashboard. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldnt offer but requires this dash kit to make it fit.
I really like the build quality of this installation kit! It has a solid feel and the gray finish is nice. The only downside was a slight delay in shipping, but it was worth the wait once I installed it in my 2008 Ridgeline.

Perfect for my double din upgrade
I recently upgraded my stereo using this Metra kit and couldn't be happier! Installed it in my 2009 Ridgeline without any issues. It looks sharp and fits like a glove — just what I needed for my new double din head unit!

Not the best experience
Unfortunately, the kit came with a couple of damaged pieces, which made the installation tricky. It looked good once I got everything set up on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline, but I was frustrated with the initial quality. Wouldn't buy again.

Great fit for my 2006 Ridgeline
I used the Metra 99-7870G for my 2006 Honda Ridgeline and it fits perfectly! The gray color matches my interior nicely, and installation was straightforward. Really happy with how it turned out!

Decent kit, but unclear instructions
The installation kit worked okay for my 2007 Ridgeline, but I found the instructions pretty confusing. I managed to get it installed, but it took longer than I expected. Overall, it does the job for a single or double din setup.
