This stereo installation kit has been engineered to help you install a 2 tall (Single-DIN) aftermarket radio into the original vehicle dashboard. This dash kit makes radio replacement simple and comes with a built-in pocket that is located below the 2 radio to fill the extra space in the radio opening, which can be used for storage. The dash kit is painted black to match the original look and feel of the vehicles dashboard. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldnt offer but requires this dash kit to make it fit.
Highly satisfied with the Metra kit! Installed it in my 2008 Grand Vitara and it looks sleek in black. Everything lined up perfectly, and my new stereo fits like a glove. I love the way it turned out!

Mediocre experience overall
I had some trouble getting it to fit in my 2006 Grand Vitara, which was frustrating. Once it was installed it looked okay, but it felt a bit flimsy. It does the job, just wish it was a bit sturdier. Not fully impressed.

Solid product for the price
I bought this Metra kit for my 2006 Grand Vitara, and it’s done the job well. It’s sturdy and the black finish looks good. Took me about 30 minutes to install. Just be aware that you might need some extra tools for a complete setup, which wasn't mentioned in the description.

Decent kit but instruction could be clearer
