This heater core bypass hose is designed for LS and LT series engines and replaces part number 551699. The U shape design allows coolant to bypass the heater core in the engine cooling system. The hose features one 5/8 inch end and one 3/4 inch end for proper connection. Two metal hose clamps are included to help secure the hose during installation. This product is commonly used in engine cooling system maintenance and replacement. Package includes 1 U shape hose and 2 clamps.
Used this heater core bypass hose with my LS engine, and it fits like a glove. The included clamps were sturdy and made install super easy. The U-shape design is exactly what I needed for my setup, no leaks so far!

Arrived damaged, very disappointing
I was excited to install this hose, but it came with a dent and some scratches. The integrity seems compromised, so I can’t use it as is. Very disappointing experience for such a critical component!

Good but slightly complicated install
The hose works well enough for my LT series engine, but I found the installation instructions a bit lacking. Once I figured it out, it was fine, but I had to watch some videos to get it right. Otherwise, the material seems solid and does the job!

Decent quality, but arrived late
While the heater hose is good quality and fits properly, it took longer to arrive than I expected. The clamps are okay, but I ended up using my own for a better fit. Just be prepared for possibly delayed shipping.
