I recently put the Michelin Defender2 tires on my SUV and wow, the grip is incredible! They've performed well even in light snow, which is a plus for my area. The size 225/50R17 fits perfectly, and I can feel the difference in handling compared to my old tires.

Disappointed with tread wear
I expected more from Michelin. After just a few months with the Defender2 tires, I noticed uneven wear, which was frustrating. They perform okay in dry conditions, but I would’ve liked them to last longer. Hoping for a better experience down the line.

Decent tires but a bit noisy
The Michelin Defender2 tires are pretty good for everyday driving in my minivan. They handle well and provide a smooth ride. However, I noticed that they can be a bit noisy on the highway. Not a deal-breaker, but something to consider if you do a lot of long trips.
