Mishimoto Carbon Fiber Oil Catch Can is designed to make sure getting the most out of performance parts. Over time harmful oil will build up inside the turbocharger, intake manifold, intercooler and piping. It will prevent oil from getting into pressured turbo plumbing, which can lead to couplers coming off under boost. Oil vapors can get into the intake system which will lower combustion temperatures and reduce overall efficiency. This will solve all these problems and give added security knowing that performance parts are safe from harmful oil.
I installed the Mishimoto Carbon Fiber Oil Catch Can a few weeks ago and I’m really impressed. The carbon fiber looks amazing, and it fits perfectly in my engine bay. I’ve noticed less oil build-up since I added it, so I think it’s doing its job well!

Sleek design but tough to install
The catch can from Mishimoto is super sleek with that carbon fiber finish, but the installation was a bit tricky. I wish the instructions were clearer. It took me a couple of hours to get everything right, but once it was set up, it looks great!

Functional, but expected better quality
I’ve always loved Mishimoto products, but this oil catch can didn’t meet my expectations. The design is nice, but I noticed some minor scratches on the carbon fiber finish right out of the box. It’s functional, but be careful with the fitment; it was a bit loose for my setup.
