Front license plates are a drag, literally. In the case of the 2022+ Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86, the front license plate installs directly in the center of the front bumper, partially blocking the lower grille. It creates wind resistance and blocks critical airflow to your radiator. With the Mishimoto License Plate Relocation Kit, we solve all these problems. Designed specifically for the 2022+ Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86, our License Plate Relocation Kit is fabricated from high-strength, anodized and powder-coated 6061-aluminum. Mounting to the OEM tow hook location allows for a direct fit while hugging the contours of your bumper for a clean, seamless installation. Additionally, moving the plate to the side and angling to follow the body lines helps reduce wind resistance and free up space in the center to allow critical airflow to reach your radiator. And, lets be honest, it just looks better! Our License Plate Relocation Kit includes all necessary hardware for an easy installation, and as with all our products, this kit includes our signature Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
The Mishimoto relocation kit works fine for my Toyota GR86, but I had a hard time getting the screws to align properly. The instructions weren't super clear, and I had to do some guesswork. It looks good once installed, but I wish it had a more straightforward fitting process. Still a decent product.

Great solution for my BRZ!
I recently installed the Mishimoto license plate relocation kit on my 2022 Subaru BRZ, and I'm impressed! The build quality is solid, and it fits perfectly without any drilling. I love how it helps the front end look cleaner. Installation was straightforward, and it took me about 20 minutes. Definitely worth it!

Came damaged, not happy
I was pretty disappointed when my Mishimoto license plate kit arrived with a bent bracket. I managed to straighten it out, but it shouldn't have come that way. Once I got it on my car, it works okay, but the initial damage really left a bad taste. I expected better quality control.
