Add some additional reliability and engine bay styling with the Mishimoto V6, V8, and EcoBoost Mustang expansion tank. The Mishimoto Mustang expansion tank has internal baffles to prevent coolant starvation from overflow ports to engine. Also, during high speed cornering, braking, and acceleration, the internal baffled reduce coolant sloshing. The engineers at Mishimoto have also included a sight glass to allow for proper hot and cold coolant levels. The stock coolant Mustang expansion tanks is major eye sore in the engine bay, so the Mishimoto tank is offered in polished or anodized black to keep your Mustang looking great. As an added feature, you can install your tank in under one hour! This Mustang expansion tank was designed to work with the stock expansion tank cap and includes an overflow nipple on the fill neck for adding an additional coolant tank so your Mustang is NHRA legal. Plastic expansion tanks are prone to failure after years of constant temperature variations, so the Mishimoto tank is constructed from durable, TIG-welded aluminum for optimal durability and longevity. The Mishimoto V6, V8, and EcoBoost Mustang expansion tank is engineered for perfect fitment in 2015 Mustang, and as with all our 2015 Mustang parts, this expansion tank includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
I swapped out my stock tank for the Mishimoto one on my 2018 Mustang Ecoboost, and wow what a difference! The silver looks fantastic, and I've noticed my engine temp staying much more stable. Installation was a breeze too, so I’m really happy with this purchase!

Good, but had a few hiccups
I like the Mishimoto tank for my 2016 Mustang V6, but my installation instructions were a bit unclear. After a couple of tries, I finally got it right, and it works well now. Just wish the packaging had been a bit better; it was kinda banged up when it arrived.

Not Quite What I Expected
The Mishimoto tank for my Mustang V8 seems solid, but it didn't match the OEM fit as perfectly as I hoped. It functions fine, just took a bit of adjusting to get it in place. Overall, it's decent but could be better.

Solid Upgrade for My Mustang
I got the Mishimoto expansion tank for my 2017 Mustang Ecoboost, and the installation was pretty straightforward. The silver finish looks great under the hood, and it seems to be holding up well. I definitely feel like the cooling performance has improved, especially during those hot summer days!

Disappointed with Quality
I was excited about this expansion tank, but it arrived with a dent on the side. I managed to install it, but I expected better QC from Mishimoto. It works for now, but I'm unsure how long it'll last like this. Not what I was hoping for.
