This range includes ring and pinion gears and axle shaft options, plus internal kits, carrier and transfer cases, manual transmission components and yokes. Not only do we offer ring and pinion gears and differential bearing kits, Motive Gear offers a complete line of transmission parts and transfer case parts as well as replacement axle shafts. In combination with Motive Gears performance and axle divisions: Motive Gear Performance and TEN Factory, there simply isnt a better value in drivetrain components.
This Motive Gear rebuild kit worked fine for my Mazda's rear differential, but I found the directions a bit confusing. It took longer than expected to complete the job, but the parts themselves seem sturdy. Just be patient!

Solid rebuild kit for my Ford
I used the Motive Gear R8 8RMKT kit to rebuild my Ford 8.8 rear differential, and it worked like a charm. Everything fit perfectly, and the instructions were pretty clear. Just make sure you have the right tools on hand for installation!

Disappointed with quality
I had high hopes for this Motive Gear kit, but it didn’t last long after installation. The bearings started making noise within a few weeks. I expected better durability, especially for my Mercury. I wouldn’t buy this again.

Great kit but missing a seal
The Motive Gear rebuild kit I got was mostly good. It had all the bearings I needed for my Ford 8.8, but it was missing one small seal. Had to run to the auto parts store, which was a pain. Overall, the quality is nice though!
