The Motorcraft DPFE3 sensor does its job well, but the installation instructions were a bit vague. I ended up figuring it out after some trial and error. It’s performing well now, but a clearer manual would have saved me some time.

Not what I expected
I bought the DPFE3 sensor to fix an emissions issue, but it didn’t resolve the problem as I hoped. It looks good and fits fine, but guess my car needs a more extensive check up. Just be aware it might not be the end-all solution you’re looking for.

Great sensor for my old Ford
I installed the Motorcraft DPFE3 sensor in my 2003 Ford Explorer and it works like a charm. The exhaust gas feedback is accurate, and I've noticed a jump in performance since replacing the old one. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable replacement.
