I was really let down by the Motorcraft DU-88 camshaft position sensor. It functioned well at first, but after just a month, my check engine light came back on. I’m not sure if I just got a defective unit or what, but now I have to look for a replacement. Not great.

Solid Sensor for My Ford
Installed this Motorcraft DU-88 camshaft position sensor in my 2012 Ford and it's been working like a charm. The engine runs smoother now, and I haven't had any issues with misfires since I swapped it out. Definitely worth it for the price!

Installation Could Be Easier
The Motorcraft DU-88 camshaft position sensor works fine, but I had a bit of trouble with the installation. The instructions weren't very clear, and it took me longer than expected. Still, the sensor itself seems to be doing its job well after the initial hiccup.
