This Motul 3000 4T engine break-in oil features high detergent and dispersive properties for engine cleanliness, and is compatible with catalytic converters. Its mineral base formula makes it an excellent oil choice for break-in procedures.
I used the Motul MTL108080 break-in oil for my new rebuild, and it worked like a charm. The 1-quart size is perfect for small engines, and I really noticed the difference in performance during the initial break-in period. Definitely happy with my choice!

Decent oil but pricey
Motul MTL108080 is a good break-in oil, but I found it a bit on the expensive side. It did its job, and my engine ran smoothly, but I expected a bit more for the price tag. Still, it did help with the initial wear during break-in.
