The vacuum pump is compatible with Isuzu NPR NQR N-Series 2020.5+ (i series), gas engines only. 2. The vacuum pump is identical to the last version pump (part number 97656980 / 8-97656-980-0) except that the breather/fresh air hose is not in the same location as the last version for the 6.6L application. 3. Installing this pump on the 6.6L will result in the breather fitting being very close to the engine, but it can well do the job and make sure your truck to start and run! 4. Starting with the May 2020 i-Series trucks, ISUZU introduces an updated belt-driven vacuum pump design. The new pump has a longer orifice and shaft than the previous design, which gives the shaft a better and stronger bearing support and more durability. 5. Different from the previous version, the new pump has a longer snout and shaft allowing for more robust bearing support of the shaft and greater durability. 6. This pump technically can be retrofitted to trucks back to 2008 but will require use of a deep offset / dish type pulley. 7.
