I was really disappointed when my OCPTY starter for the 2000 Taurus arrived with a dent. It seems to work okay, but the quality control should definitely be looked at. I'm considering returning it for a replacement.

Decent Starter but Took Time to Arrive
The starter itself works fine for my 2001 Mercury Sable, but it took longer to arrive than expected. It was a bit frustrating, but once I got it installed, it fired right up. Just make sure you order it ahead of time if you're in a hurry!

Installed this starter in my 2006 Taurus. It works, but I have some doubts about its long-term durability. It feels a bit lightweight compared to the original one. Hopefully, it holds up for a while, but time will tell.
