The starter itself is solid and compatible with my 1999 Mercury Mountaineer. It started up without any issues, but I was bummed it took longer than expected to arrive. Still, glad I made the purchase!

Installation could've been easier
I found the OEG Parts starter for my 2000 Explorer to be a bit tricky to install. The directions weren’t very clear, but once I figured it out, it works well with the V8. Just wish the instructions were better!

Defective and disappointing
