The starter I received for my 1996 Nissan Maxima was compatible, but the installation instructions were a bit unclear. Took me a while to figure it out, but once it was in, it worked fine. Not bad overall, just a little frustrating during setup.

Stopped working after a month
I was really disappointed with this starter from OEG Parts. It worked well for a couple of weeks on my 1998 Infiniti I30 but then just died. Now I have to get a replacement, which is a hassle. Not what I expected for the price.
