I bought this starter for my 2000 Beetle, and while it worked great for a few weeks, I noticed it starting to struggle. It’s a solid part for the price, but the longevity is questionable. Installation was straightforward, and it fit just like it should, so I’m conflicted.

Easy Installation for My VW Jetta
I replaced the starter in my 2002 Volkswagen Jetta with this OEG Parts starter, and it was a breeze. It fits perfectly and works like a charm! The car starts up so much quicker now. Totally worth it if you need a reliable starter for your older VW, especially at this price.

Came Damaged, But Works Well
This OEG starter arrived with some minor damage to the casing, but thankfully it still functioned properly after installation in my 2000 Golf. Shipping could've been better, but at least the starter hasn’t let me down. Just be careful if you order it; check for any damage before you install.
