I had high hopes for this starter since I installed it in my 1998 Beetle, but it stopped working after about three months. It cranked slowly at first, then just wouldn’t turn over. I’m not sure if it’s a quality issue, but I’m not happy with my purchase.

Great Starter for My VW Golf!
I bought this OEG Parts starter for my 2002 VW Golf, and it worked like a charm right out of the box. It cranks quickly and has given me no issues since installation. Definitely a high-torque starter that makes a difference, especially in colder weather!

Works OK, but delivery was slow
