OTC's 6740 Crankshaft Rear Seal Remover saves time when removing crankshaft rear seals, while preventing the expensive damage that attempting to pry the seal out can cause to the block and crank. This seal remover is a special puller with three jaws that are designed to grab the inner lip of the seal. Forcing screw attached to the center plate is used to react against the crankshaft end to pull the seal out. Applications include GM 6.6L Duramax diesel engines found in: 2001 and newer GMT800/900 platform vehicles, including Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD, 2500HD and 3500 models as well as 2006-16 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana.
