3M Machine Polish 05996 is a versatile polish designed to help quickly remove compound swirls and minor surface defects on automotive finishes. This polish features a formula that works on a variety of paints - including dark color vehicles - and helps leave a glossy finish when applied with a 3M Foam Polishing Pad 05725. This polish is clearcoat safe, contains no waxes or silicones, and is compatible with various types of paints. Effortlessly restore the beauty of automotive finishes with 3M Machine Polish 05996.
The polish works well for the most part, but I found it a bit tricky to apply evenly. I love that it's silicone-free, but I had some difficulty getting the cleanup just right. Still, it did leave my car looking shiny and fresh!

Great for a smooth finish!
I've been using the Perfect-It 3M Machine Polish on my car and wow, the results are amazing! It's silicone-free, so I don't have to worry about any contamination during the painting process. Cleanup was a breeze too, which is a huge plus for me!

Not what I expected
I had high hopes for this 3M Machine Polish, but it didn’t perform as I thought it would. The consistency felt off, and the results were not as nice as I hoped. My expectations were higher given the brand reputation. Disappointed overall.
