3M Perfect-It EX AC Rubbing Compound 36060 is the highest-performing 3M rubbing compound designed to remove P1200 or finer grade sand scratches and other surface defects. The fast-cutting, aluminum oxide-based liquid abrasive works quickly and uniformly to leave a refined finish even on newer, more challenging paints and clearcoats. The specially-designed formula defies extreme conditions, and is less likely to stick to panels or leave powdery residue regardless of heat and humidity levels. I had high hopes for the Perfect-It Rubbing Compound, but it didn’t perform as well as I wanted. It seemed to leave some scratches instead of removing them. I might try a different product next time.

Solid performance, decent price
I bought this for my weekend car projects, and while it does cut fast, I did notice some minor streaking. Overall, it gets the job done, but I wish it came with more detailed instructions. Still a solid choice!

Good but tricky to apply
The rubbing compound works well for cutting, but I found the application process a bit tricky. It took me a couple of tries to get it right. The finish looks great now though, so I'm satisfied overall!
