This set is easy to use with the appropriate installation disc and hammer the driver to install the frost plugs, making it simple for both professionals and DIYers. With 7 frost plug discs ranging from 1 to 2-3/8 inches in diameter, this set can handle a variety of frost plugs in different sizes. Made from forged high carbon steel and plated to resist corrosion, this set is durable and can withstand tough working conditions. The set comes with a blow molded case for easy and convenient storage, making it easy to keep everything organized and in one place.
The Performance Tool freeze plug installer/remover set works well, but I found the instructions a bit lacking. It took me a few tries to figure out the best way to use the tools. The case is nice and keeps everything in one place, though!

Solid tool set for freeze plugs
I bought the Performance Tool W89737 set to replace some freeze plugs in my older car. The blow-mold case makes it really easy to keep everything organized, and the tools feel sturdy in hand. Installation was straightforward, which is a plus for a DIYer like me!

Not impressed, arrived damaged
Unfortunately, my Performance Tool W89737 set showed up with a broken handle on one of the tools. It’s frustrating because I was looking forward to using it on my project. I’m hoping to get a replacement or refund soon!
