Phillips 66 X/C Aviation Oil is an ash less dispersant, multi-grade engine oil specially formulated for year-round use in aircraft piston engines. It provides distinct performance benefits compared with single-grade engine oils, including easier starting and faster oil circulation at low temperatures, reduced warm-up time, and reduced oil consumption in most engines. It maintains its film strength under high loads and at high temperatures to protect against wear and piston scuffing. The ash less dispersant formulation helps minimize the formation of engine sludge, varnish, piston deposits and combustion chamber deposits, resulting in a much cleaner engine compared with the use of straight (non-dispersant) mineral oils. .
The oil itself seems solid, but the 12-pack arrived with one of the quarts dented. I contacted support, and they were helpful, but it took a bit longer than I'd like. Still, the oil is fine for my aviation needs, just wish the packaging was better.

Does the job but not impressed
I got this for my aircraft maintenance, and while the 20W50 viscosity is great, I expected a bit more. Definitely good for the price, but I found other brands perform a little better for my engine's needs. Not bad, but I might try something else next time.

Excellent aviation oil for the price!
