Using this hammer has greatly improved my riveting technique. The 1000g weight provides great control and the alloy steel head really delivers on precision. I do wish they’d included more info about the safety wedge in the instructions, but once I figured it out, it’s been smooth sailing!

Durable but Noisy
I bought the Picard hammer for some renovation work and while it’s very durable and effective, I noticed it makes quite a bit of noise when hitting. The cross-peen is perfect for my riveting jobs, but I wish it was a bit quieter. Overall, it does the job well!

Best Hammer I've Ever Used

Disappointed with Quality Control
I was excited to use my new Picard riveting hammer but it arrived with a dent on the head. It seemed like it might have been a return or damaged in packaging. I contacted customer service for a replacement, but the process has been slow. I hope the next one is in perfect condition!

Solid Tool but Heavy for Some Tasks
This hammer is well-made and the German pattern is really effective for riveting. However, I found the 1000g weight a bit much for smaller projects. It's great for heavy-duty work but can be tiring if you’re using it for extended periods. Still, it handles like a dream on heavier materials!
