Plastex Master XL Tech Kit is a complete solution for repairing, rebuilding, and recreating rigid plastic and fiberglass components. Designed for larger and more advanced repair jobs, this kit allows you to glue broken parts, fill gaps, form new pieces, and restore stripped threads with ease. Plastex works on rigid materials including ABS, polycarbonate, acrylic, fiberglass, SMC, Bakelite, composites, carbon fiber, and wood. It is not suitable for softer plastics such as polyethylene or polypropylene. The included reusable molding bar allows you to duplicate parts and recreate missing sections. Heat the molding material to approximately 120F, press it onto an undamaged section, and allow it to harden for 20-30 minutes. Once hardened, apply Plastex powder and activator into the mold to form replacement parts. After curing, remove the mold and inspect the repair. The repaired surface can be sanded and painted if needed. For best results, apply Plastex to the inside or backside of the repair whenever possible. The Master XL Tech Kit is ideal for automotive, marine, RV, industrial, hobby, and household repairs-especially where larger quantities and more advanced restoration are required.
