Plastex Plastic Repair Kit (Standard Gray Kit) is designed to glue broken plastic, fill gaps, form new parts, and repair stripped threads. It forms a strong molecular bond without requiring any mixing ratios, making plastic repair simple and effective. Plastex works on rigid plastics and materials including ABS, polycarbonate, acrylic, fiberglass, SMC, Bakelite, composites, carbon fiber, and wood. It is not suitable for softer plastics such as polyethylene or polypropylene. The included reusable molding bar allows you to replicate parts and recreate missing tabs. Heat the molding material to approximately 120F, press it onto an undamaged section, and allow it to harden for 20-30 minutes. Once hardened, apply Plastex powder and activator into the mold to form replacement parts. After curing, remove the mold and inspect the repair. The repaired area can be sanded and painted if needed. For best results, apply Plastex to the inside or backside of the repair-there is no need to apply it on both sides. Plastex is ideal for repairing rigid plastics used in motorcycles, cars, trucks, aircraft, watercraft, RVs, pools, hot tubs, toys, hobbies, and household or office items. Proudly made in the USA.
The Plastex kit works okay for fixing small plastic parts, but I found the instructions a bit confusing at first. I managed to repair my lawn chair with it, but took a couple of tries to mix the glue right. Overall, it does the job but could use clearer guidance.

Not what I expected, unfortunately
I had high hopes for this Plastex repair kit, but it didn't work well on my fiberglass repairs. The gray color wasn't a good match, and the adhesive failed after just a week. I might try it on something else, but I wasn't impressed by the initial results.
