The Plastex Plastic Repair Kit White Travel Size is designed to easily glue, repair, or remake broken plastic, fiberglass, wood, and more. This complete repair system is ideal for fixing cracked, broken, or missing parts when replacement pieces are unavailable or difficult to find. Compact and easy to store, this travel-size kit is perfect for use at home, in the garage, or on the go. Plastex is used to glue broken parts together, fill gaps, repair stripped threads, and remake tabs and small parts. The system uses a powder and liquid activator that work together to form a strong repair. There is no mixing ratio required. Simply place the powder where the repair is needed and apply drops of activator to begin the bonding process. This kit includes a reusable molding bar, allowing you to duplicate tabs and small parts. Heat the molding bar until soft, press it over the original part to capture the shape, and let it cool. Once hardened, the mold can be filled with Plastex to recreate the part. The molding bar can be reused multiple times for future repairs. After curing, Plastex repairs are sandable and paintable, making it easy to finish the repair to match surrounding surfaces. Repairs can be applied to the inside or back of parts to minimize visible work when needed. Plastex is strong enough that repairs only need to be made on one side. Plastex works on ABS, acrylic, polycarbonate, fiberglass, FRP, SMC, bakelite, composites, carbon fiber, and wood. It is not recommended for use on polyethylene or polypropylene. Common uses include repairs on cars, motorcycles, aircraft, watercraft, RVs, toys, hobbies, household items, and office equipment.
