The Polaris HD 3 winch is solid for lighter pulls, but I had some trouble with the installation instructions. They weren't super clear, and it took longer than expected. Once set up, it did the job, but I wish it was easier.

Not quite what I expected
I was excited to try the Polaris winch for my jeep, but it struggled a bit with heavier loads over 400 lbs. It did work well for smaller tasks like pulling branches, but I expected more from a 500 lb winch.

Defective on arrival, very disappointing
Unfortunately, my Polaris HD 3 winch arrived with a damaged motor. It wouldn't work at all. I had to deal with customer service for returns, which was a hassle. I hope the replacement is better!
