POR-15 is a rust-preventive paint designed for application directly on rusted or seasoned metal surfaces. It dries to a rock-hard, non-porous finish that won't chip, crack, or peel, and it prevents rust from re-occurring by protecting metal from further exposure to moisture.
This engine enamel is solid, but I was bummed that it took longer than expected to arrive. The Hi-Po Yellow is vibrant and covers well, but the shipping delay was a hassle. Just be prepared for that if you order it!

Bright and Durable Finish!
I used the POR-15 high-temperature engine paint in Hi-Po Yellow for my classic car restoration, and the color looks fantastic. The paint went on smoothly and has held up well against the heat. Just make sure to follow the prep instructions closely for the best results!

Great Coverage, Mixed Experience
The POR-15 engine paint delivered great coverage and looks awesome on my engine. However, the can was dented when it arrived, which made me a bit worried about the quality. Thankfully, the paint itself was fine!
