SuperGlide short bed truck 5th wheel hitches are 14 K SuperGlide. SuperGlide is the only true solution to safe 5th wheel towing with short bed trucks protecting passengers, trucks and trailers. SuperGlide automatically moves the trailer away from the cab while making turns and allowing up to 90 degrees; turning without stopping, slowing down or even thinking about the space between the truck and trailer. This automatically returns the hitches and trailers to the safe towing position over the truck axle when the turn is completed, also when going forward or backing up. All SuperGlide hitches feature fully articulating dual pivot head, and Super 5th unique rotary latch that locks automatically when hooking up to the trailer. The gear driven latch design minimizes bump while towing by allowing only .030 inch clearance between king pin and latch. The 18K and 14K SuperGlide moves up to 14 inch while making a turn - 50 per cent farther than manually adjusted slider designs and works automtically while you drive and make short turns. Available with a choice of mounting styles that are fixed base rails with universal mounting brackets for lower cost or totally removable SuperRails with stronger, more stable custom designed mounting brackets for specific vehicles.
I was really excited about my PullRite 4100 hitch, but I had trouble with the mounting system. It didn’t seem to sit right in my truck bed, and it took way longer to adjust than I’d hoped. Once it was in, it did pull fine, but I expected a smoother setup process. Not what I anticipated.

Best towing hitch I’ve owned
Honestly, the PullRite 4100 SuperGlide 5th wheel hitch is the best towing hitch I’ve ever owned. The 16k rating is more than adequate, and the glide feature is fantastic for making tight turns. Super sturdy build and easy to operate. Would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Shipping delay but good product
I had a bit of a delay waiting for my PullRite 4100 hitch to arrive, which was frustrating. When it finally came, the installation went pretty smooth. It works well on my 5th wheel, but I expected better communication from the seller regarding the shipping. The hitch itself works great though!
