Minimize drooping and sagging while extending the life of your RV steps with the Quick Products Step Stabilizers. Mounted underneath your bottom step, the Step Stabilizer take the weight so your stair supports dont have to, helping to alleviate bouncing and swaying of the RV while the steps are in use while also providing better security and balance for the user. Place one stabilizer directly under the middle of the bottommost step platform or place two at opposite ends for best results. The selfstoring capability allows you to pin your stabilizer into place underneath the mounted step when not in use, keeping it close and ready anytime you need it. With a simple wormscrew drive, the platform lowers down from underneath your steps by rotating one end of the stabilizer. All solid steel construction, the stabilizer boasts a range of 8.75 reach up to 15.5 and supports up to 750 lbs. The RV Step Stabilizer is intended for use on hard, level surfaces. Be aware that some units will have braces underneath their steps that may prevent the Stair Stabilizer from properly contacting the bottom of the steps. Ensure the bottom of the step is flat before use. Be sure the Stabilizer is threaded at least a full three rotations beneath separating height for safest use. Note: Due to the wide variety of step configurations the stabilizer may be mounted to, mounting hardware is not included.
