Engine block or manifold drain plug 16951A1 fits most MerCruiser sterndrive or inboard engines blocks and manifolds to make draining cooling water for winterizing or changing anti-freeze easier. Can be used with engines equipped with closed cooler or raw water cooling systems. May also fit other brands of sterndrive or inboard engines and manifolds. The Quicksilver drain plug does its job well, but it took longer than expected to arrive. Once I installed it, though, I had no issues at all. Just wish the delivery process was quicker next time.

Decent quality but had some issues
While I like the Quicksilver drain plug's build, I had some trouble during installation. The instructions could have been clearer. After a bit of fiddling, I got it in, and it works well now, but it was frustrating at first.

Not what I expected
I was a little disappointed with this drain plug. The color is a bit duller in person than it appeared online, and it didn't fit my engine block as well as I hoped. Works okay, but I might look for another brand next time.
