The R1 brake pads perform well on my 1970 Saab 96 GT, but I found the installation instructions a bit unclear. The rubber-steel shims were a great addition, helping with noise, but it took me longer than expected to get them fitted. Still, they work fine now!

Great performance upgrade for my MG
I recently installed these R1 Concepts Optimum OEP series brake pads on my 1966 MG MGB, and the difference is incredible. They stopped so much smoother compared to the old pads, and I love that they come with rubber-steel shims to reduce noise. I'm definitely feeling more confident while driving!

Solid choice for my MGB restoration

Not as expected, stopped working after a month
I was really hopeful for these pads on my 1965 Saab 96 GT, but they started squeaking badly after just a month of moderate use. They might have installed okay, but something went wrong, and now I need to replace them already. Disappointed.

Good value for classic cars
These brake pads for my 1964 MG MGB are a good value! The rubber-steel construction is a nice touch, and they offer solid stopping power. There was minimal dust compared to other brands I’ve tried. I’d say they’re worth it for the price!
