These R1 Concepts brake pads with rubber-steel shims are a fantastic investment for my 1983 Nissan 280ZX. The pedal feel is incredible, and I feel much safer driving now. Highly recommend to anyone needing a brake upgrade!

Good Pads, but Installation was Tough
These brake pads seem good quality, but I found the installation instructions a bit unclear. I managed to get them on my 1982 Nissan 280ZX, but it took a few extra hours. Once on, they perform nicely with an aggressive bite!

Not as Good as I Hoped
I installed these on my 1979 280ZX, but they didn't quite meet my expectations. The stopping power is okay, but the rubber shims didn’t fit perfectly, causing some vibrations. Might work better for others, but I had some trouble.

Decent Performance but Some Noise
I bought these R1 Concepts brake pads for my 1980 Nissan 280ZX. They stop fine, but I notice a bit of squeaking, especially when it’s damp outside. Not a huge issue, but I expected them to be quieter given the rubber shims. Still better than my old pads!
