Made of Semi-Metallic materials that are pressure-adhered within the brake-pad compound, Semi-Metallic brake pads are quieter and smoother. For vehicles that stop on a dime - without any unpleasant sounds - Semi-Metallic brake pads offer the best.
Used these brake pads for my 1983 Peugeot 604. They worked well for a few weeks, but I noticed some squeaking sounds that weren’t there before. They do the job but just be aware they'll make some noise. Installation was straightforward, at least!

Bad experience with these brake pads
I had high hopes for these brake pads, but they arrived with a few scratches which was disappointing. Installed them anyway, but they started grinding after just a month. Not what I expected from R1 Concepts. I’d be careful before buying again.

Great upgrade for my Peugeot brakes
I installed these R1 Concepts semi-metallic brake pads on my 1981 Peugeot 505 and the difference is night and day. They fit perfectly and the stopping power is much better than my old pads. Definitely a solid choice for anyone with a Peugeot from those years!

Fit like a glove, but not perfect
These R1 Concepts pads fit my 1979 Peugeot 604 without issues, which was a relief. Performance is decent but they don’t feel as responsive as I had hoped. Still, for the price, I think they’re worth it for everyday driving. Just don’t expect race-level performance!
