I regret paying a bit more for the RAPARTS R6996 air pre-cleaner. It fits my Case 580D just fine, but I think there are cheaper options that might work just as well. Still, it does perform alright and keeps dust at bay.

Installation was tricky
The RAPARTS R6996 assembly works well in my Case 580D with turbo, but the instructions could use some improvement. I had a hard time figuring out how to install it. Now that it’s on, it functions perfectly, just wished it was easier to set up!

Arrived damaged, not happy
Unfortunately, my RAPARTS R6996 air pre-cleaner assembly arrived with some scratches and dents. I was excited to install it on my Case 580D, but now I’m considering returning it. Disappointing experience overall.
